Today is Easter Sunday, and started off at 8 am with the girls 'scrambling' round the garden looking for chocolate eggs. Pearl seemed a little bemused with the whole thing, but was pleased with the resulting prize. As I am dieting, my gift was a lovely wicker basket with a handle, which will no doubt be useful later in the year when I can pick some of my produce.
Later in the day my father came round for Sunday lunch, bearing a very special Easter present, which he had been making for me in his garage this week. This wonderful custom made planter will house my tomatoes and courgettes in a month or two's time. You can make one too from the instructions here.
what a great planter! lucky you, we won't be doing any planting this year as our house has just gone on the market! still hoping that this time next year we will be somewhere we can plant more than just tomatoes in grow bags & potatoes in a big plant pot!

ReplyDeletewe (well me) really wants to stay in the village, George's school is great (only 18 in his class) & i start work in the pre-school, which is on the school grounds after easter, & i've got used to being able to walk to the school!
